Sayings are good if true, otherwise not.

Good, pithy sayings are truths well put.

The Word of God is always pithy, and quick, and powerful.

God's Word is true pithiness personified!

Not all pithiness is godly, because not all sayings are true.

The best sayings are left unsaid when unnecessary.

Even the pithiest of all sayings are too much when uncalled for.

All the opinions and sayings in the world will not amount to a hill of beens, if not true.

You can believe and say it all you want, but that still don't make it true.

Opinions like feelings are best kept to oneself, unless another wants to hear about them (!)

I don't like fishing; I don't like to hear about fishing from a fishing enthusiast: It's all just so much Greek to me.

I don't like fishing, but neither do I hate it, which I will, if some fishing enthusiast tries to get me to like it!

Nobody likes a go-getter, when they go out of their way to get you to do something you don't want to do nor have to do.

One can tolerate someone trying to get you to do what is good and well and necessary for yourself, that is good exhortation: But no one likes a pushy go-getter of other people in other things they don't even like, nor need.

Stop trying to sell me a bag-of-goods, please!

"Respect me, and I'll respect you" is good... to a point: Will someone disrespect you for disrespecting their wish to kill themselves, even if you have to conk them on the head to stop them? Hmm...

God's love respects all people and believeth all things... to a point.

Charity without sobriety is loose love.

Loose love, like loose livin' will lose the one yer livin' with (!)
Now, that's funny, but true...

Even in the most serious of times, a good joke is not all bad...

Good jokes are timing as well as content, but even good jokes can become bad if too well timed...

God the Eternal One is Timeless Personified.

To enter into the Eternal is the grace of God's Person in you. It is the hope of glory.

Being Timeless is not timelessness.

The Bible never said there was ever No Time, but rather that indeed there is a Time under heaven: And though this heaven & earth shall pass away, a New Heaven & earth shall be made, under which there shall still be a Time...

Though heaven and earth shall pass away, the Word of God shall not, and where God's Word is there also is He and you that believe... with Time to love Him.

When God wipes away all tears, will that include the ones of joy?

There is a lake full of the tears of sorrow, and it burns. But there is a place full of tears of joy, and it is alive forevermore (!)
